CYBERSTEEL, Russia’s leading supplier of stainless steel tubular products, has received approval from the Turkish Nuclear Regulatory Authority (Nükleer Düzenleme Kurumu, NDK) to provide equipment for nuclear power plants in Turkey.
NDK certification enables companies to manufacture and supply 14 types of seamless stainless steel pipes for safety class 1, 2 and 3 equipment of NPP facilities in the Republic of Turkey for a period of 5 years. CYBERSTEEL’s products approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Authority will be used for the construction of the third nuclear reactor at Akkuyu power plant. In 2022, the company will provide the plant’s steam generators with two sets of cutting-edge special grade steel pipes produced using the technology of bright annealing in hydrogen atmosphere. To meet the customer's high requirements with regard to surface quality and mechanical properties of the products, CYBERSTEEL has upgraded its process equipment with comprehensive testing systems, a bright annealing furnace and an automated finishing line.
